Core role

Its core mission is to drive the spindles of the fine spinning frame to rotate at high speed, achieving the twisting and winding of yarns

Power transmission

Driven by the main rolling disc/drum, one spindle belt can simultaneously drive four spindles (as shown in the picture), allowing the spindles to operate stably at a speed of 8,000 to 20,000 revolutions per minute.

 

Ensure uniform twist

The transmission stability of the spindle belt directly determines the consistency of the spindle speed, avoiding uneven twist of the yarn and a decrease in strength due to slippage.

 

Energy conservation and consumption reduction

High-quality spindles have high drive efficiency and can significantly reduce the overall energy consumption of the fine spinning frame. They are key components for energy-saving renovations in textile factories.

 

 

Material and Structure

The mainstream of modern ingot belts is a composite structure to achieve the comprehensive performance of "low elongation + high wear resistance + anti-static"

Skeleton layer

High-strength nylon 66 (or polyester) fabric is mostly adopted to provide tensile strength and control the working elongation rate (only 0.2%-0.5%), avoiding relaxation and slippage after long-term operation.

 

Friction layer

The surface is made of polyurethane (PU) or special rubber (such as the green layer in your picture), featuring a high coefficient of friction, wear resistance and anti-static properties, reducing the risk of slipping and static sparks.

 

Adhesive backing layer

Some models have cotton fabric or wear-resistant rubber on the back to reduce wear on the rollers and minimize operating noise.

Classified by material

Traditional cotton spindle tape

It is low in price, but has a large elongation rate and is prone to slipping, and has been gradually phased out.

Wear-resistant, anti-static, high cost performance, suitable for conventional working conditions.

Low elongation and higher transmission efficiency are the mainstream choices for current energy-saving renovations.

Key points of selection

Size matching

The width (commonly 10/12/15mm) and thickness (0.6-1.2mm) need to match the specifications of the ingot plate/rolling plate.

Tension control

It needs to be used in conjunction with a tensioning device to maintain an appropriate tension. If it is too loose, it will slip; if it is too tight, it will increase energy consumption and wear.

Joint process

The joint process should give priority to hot-melt joints to avoid the risks of unevenness and breakage caused by glue joints.

 

Daily maintenance and common problems

 

Key points of maintenance

Regularly clean the flying flowers and oil stains on the tablet belt. Check whether the joints are loose and whether the belt body is fuzzing. Avoid friction with the edge of the ingot plate.

Q&A

Slippage: It is mostly caused by insufficient tension, oil stains on the belt surface or aging and elongation of the belt body, which will directly result in uneven twist.
Jumping/Abnormal noise: Uneven joints or distorted belt bodies will accelerate the wear of the ingot disk and even lead to a broken end.
Severe cotton absorption: The anti-static performance of the belt surface has failed and it needs to be replaced in time.
