Longitudinal Rib
Longitudinal rib pattern on surface, easy clean.
Include the type of convert belt like as below:

Longitudinal Rib is a common parallel longitudinal strip pattern on conveyor belts. It is composed of multiple raised ribs extending along the running direction of the belt body. The ribs are arranged at equal intervals and are continuous and straight, which is a typical type of rib pattern
Structural features
Pattern morphology
The belt surface is distributed with parallel and continuous longitudinal raised ribs. The rib height and spacing can be customized (available in three specifications: high, medium and low), and the common rib height is 5 to 20mm.
Material compatibility
It is mostly applied to conveyor belts made of materials such as PVC and rubber. The thickness of the covering rubber is generally 0.7-1.0mm, and it has both flexibility and wear resistance
Core advantage
The ribs are in line with the running direction, have strong guidance and stable friction, which can prevent the lateral displacement and sliding of materials.
Applicable scenarios
Logistics and warehousing
Horizontal conveying and sorting of express parcels, cartons and bagged goods (fertilizers, grains).
01
Food processing
The smooth transportation of vegetables, fruits, grains, oils and packaged foods complies with hygiene standards.
02
Light industry manufacturing
Anti-offset conveying for electronic accessories and small parts, suitable for assembly line operations.
03
The field of agriculture
Small-angle conveying of bulk materials such as grains, seeds and feed to reduce material spillage.
04
Performance characteristics
Anti-slip and stable
The longitudinal ribs increase the friction force of the contact surface, making it suitable for horizontal or small inclination Angle conveying of ≤20°, effectively preventing bagged and boxed materials from sliding down.
Impact resistant and wear-resistant
The raised ribs disperse the impact force of the materials, protect the base belt of the belt body, extend the service life, and are suitable for the transportation of blocky and heavy materials.
Easy to clean and maintain
The rib spacing is regular, the surface is smooth, and there are no dead corners or accumulated materials, which is convenient for quick rinsing and suitable for scenarios with high cleaning requirements such as food and packaging.
Compared with other patterns
| Pattern type | Structural features | Applicable inclination Angle | Core purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Longitudinal Rib | Parallel longitudinal ribs | ≤20° | Horizontal conveying, anti-offset, easy to clean |
| Herringbone | Herringbone protrusion | ≤40° | Large inclination Angle, loose materials (sand, gravel, coal) |
| Diamond | Dense particle protrusion | ≤30° | Viscous materials, light items |
