PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) Teflon mesh conveyor belt is made by impregnating high-performance glass fiber mesh fabric (Honghe glass fiber base fabric) with suspended polytetrafluoroethylene (commonly known as Plastic King Dubang Teflon) emulsion as raw material. It is a new type of high-performance and multi-purpose composite material product. Due to its excellent performance in all aspects, it is widely used in fields such as papermaking, food, environmental protection, printing and dyeing, clothing, chemical engineering, glass, medicine, electronics, insulation, grinding wheel slicing, and machinery.

The main performance features of Teflon mesh conveyor belts:

It is applicable within the temperature range of -196℃ to 360℃, featuring weather resistance and anti-aging properties. After practical application, if it is continuously placed at a high temperature of 250℃ for 200 days, not only will the strength not decrease, but also the weight will not be reduced. After being placed at a high temperature of 350℃ for 120 hours, the weight only decreases by about 0.6%. It can maintain its original softness at an ultra-low temperature of -180℃.

2. Non-stickiness: It is not prone to adhering to any substances. It is easy to clean various oil stains, dirt or other attachments adhering to its surface. Almost all adhesive substances such as paste, resin and paint can be easily cleaned.

3. Resistant to chemical corrosion, it can withstand the corrosion of strong acids, strong alkalis, aqua regia and various solvents.

4. Good dimensional stability (elongation coefficient less than 5‰) and high strength. It has good mechanical properties.

5. Resistant to bending fatigue, suitable for smaller wheel diameters.

6. Chemical resistance: It can resist almost all chemical substances.

7. Fireproof and flame-retardant.

8. Air permeability - The air permeability of the conveyor belt reduces heat source consumption and enhances drying efficiency.

           The edge material is made of pure Teflon turned film (available in red, white, black, etc.), or Teflon coated fabric or high-strength tear-resistant fabric, Kevlar fabric and other materials can also be used.       

 

The traditional Teflon mesh joints use custom-made special bull nose joints. We can also provide customers with steel buckle joints, spiral joints, wall joints, and seamless joints with special requirements, etc.

 We can add anti-deviation Kevlar guide strips or large white buckles to the mesh belt for customers to ensure better operation of the equipment.
