V. Precautions for Use and Maintenance
Ordinary polyester felt should not be used for a long time at temperatures exceeding 100℃. For high-temperature working conditions, aramid high-temperature resistant types must be selected.
Strong acids, alkalis and high-concentration solvents are prohibited from being transported, as they will corrode the felt layer and accelerate the shedding of fibers.
Avoid bending the rollers that are too small. Long-term operation with a small radius may cause delamination and cracking.
Cleaning should only be done by rinsing with clean water. Do not use a wire brush to grind the surface, as this may damage the dense fiber layer.
Clean the metal debris and hard particles on the belt in time to avoid scratching the workpiece and felt.
The installation tension should be moderate. Excessive tension will intensify tensile deformation and shorten the service life.
